When purchasing a joint-stock company (AS), it is important to consider three main components:

– Cost of the company (shelf company) — 9,900 NOK
– Share capital — 30,000 NOK. This is a mandatory requirement. The money does not “disappear” — it stays in the company’s bank account and is used for its operations. You need to deposit this amount into your company’s account as soon as possible after the ownership transfer.
– Brønnøysundregistrene state fee — 6,500 NOK. This amount can be paid using the company’s share capital.
– Change of name (optional) — an additional 1,354 NOK state fee.
Yes. When purchasing a ready-made joint-stock company (AS), you take on the obligation to reimburse the previously deposited share capital — 30,000 NOK.

After signing the purchase agreement, you need to open a bank account and transfer this amount. The money remains in the company’s account and can be used for its business activities.
